My Pivot…
Kimpossible Living is a Lifestyle Agency founded by Kim Hill which dovetails her passions for Art, Design and Real Estate. After a 20 year career in Music and entertainment, Hill became a Licensed Real Estate Agent in 2012. She's worked with powerhouses like Corcoran and Compass; selling more than 3M in Real Estate. Disheartened by the aggressive gentrification of Brooklyn NY and the displacement of hardworking families, Hill became an independent Broker in 2016 to better serve low income families with government funded programs and landlords who didn’t discriminate. Hill has placed over 100 low income families in NYC apartments and has advocated for more than 300 clients who faced redlining. In 2020, Hill immersed herself in her art practice and furniture design. She became the 1st Black furniture designer in Bloomingdales, has acquisitions from Museums and institutions, commissioned by multidisciplinary artists like Derrick Adams and her chairs adorn the decks of The Rockaway Hotel. Hill’s art and furniture have been featured in T MAG, The Wall Street Journal, NBC, Fox 5, Elle and Allure Magazines; as well as in Sarah Jones’ film Sell Buy Date.
While Hill has shared the stage with the late Biggie Smalls, co-written with Tupac and is a founding member of the Grammy Award winning Black Eyed Peas, her transition into design and real estate felt destined. “Art is at the core of everything from nature to setting a table. My little contribution is to make it accessible and tangible. Being of service in that way to others is my love language.”
